O’Donnell/Snider Construction (OSC) was commissioned by the owners of Chase tower to give the iconic location a well-deserved restoration. OSC revitalized the historic high-rise by repurposing its underutilized plaza, turning it into a vibrant and modern gathering space. OSC’s goal was to restore the building without destroying its history or charm. Canopies and green spaces were added to give the illusion of inviting outside elements in. More greenery lines the outside areas with landscaping, trellis areas, new planters and custom seating. Additionally, this project interior remodel includes multiple levels that include conference centers, flexible training rooms, boardrooms and lounges with all new finishes. OSC partnered with HOK to create the most notable feature, a colossal glass pyramid curtain wall stretching the height and width of the lobby facade. While taking in this magnificent feature, patrons can enjoy food and beverage vendors in the plaza. This renewal has transformed this building, and it has been rediscovered as a destination in its own right.
