Three-Story Ground-Up Expansion

SEARCH Homeless Services partnered with O’Donnell/Snider Construction (OSC) to complete a multi-level expansion project supporting its mission to serve individuals experiencing homelessness in Houston. The scope included three levels of construction integrated with an existing, fully renovated facility. The first level, approximately 22,000 square feet, was constructed as a ground-level parking structure with enclosed storage rooms. The second level, also 22,000 square feet, features elevated parking and includes a 37-foot by 16-foot connector bridge linking the garage structure to the existing building. The third level adds roughly 9,000 square feet of new office and program space to support SEARCH’s growing operations. A second connector bridge on this floor ties into the existing 25,000-square-foot building, which underwent a full interior renovation as part of the overall campus transformation.
