During the IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter Series 4 Connecting the Dots Breakfast at DEBNER, OSC’s Rachel Ternois and panelists Beth Ann Siegel, Micki Washington, Kate Detiveaux, and Adam Cook, Connie Hammack, with Julia Wood Harris moderating, spoke to the IIDA Houston City Center about their roles, and different paths in the design industry. The panel highlighted their own journeys in the industry and shared insight on leadership and growth. They emphasized open conversations and stressed the value of engaging in external activities, networking, proficient email communication, and mentorship as crucial for career advancement.
