O’Donnell/Snider Construction Breaks Ground on Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Katy
O’Donnell/Snider Construction (OSC), together with Houston Methodist, PhiloWilke Partnership, and project partners, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a new Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Katy.
Located within Texas Heritage Marketplace, the approximately 11,150-square-foot emergency care center will expand access to emergency services for Katy and surrounding communities. The new facility will include 10 exam rooms, X-ray and CT imaging, laboratory services, and on-site clinicians trained across multiple specialties.
The Emergency Care Center in Katy marks OSC’s second ground-up emergency care center for Houston Methodist in partnership with PhiloWilke Partnership. OSC is also constructing Houston Methodist’s new emergency care center in Baytown, expected to be completed in early 2027.
The groundbreaking brought together Houston Methodist leadership and employees, community members, elected officials, and project partners to celebrate the start of construction and the continued expansion of healthcare services throughout the region.
