Houston Methodist Baytown Breaks Ground on New Emergency Care Center
Houston Methodist Baytown recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a new Emergency Care Center, marking an important step in expanding access to care for Baytown and the surrounding communities.
The 11,900 square foot freestanding facility is designed to provide convenient emergency services closer to home. It will include 10 exam rooms, advanced imaging technology, laboratory services, and an on-site pharmacy, each element thoughtfully planned to support the evolving needs of patients and families in the region.
This milestone comes at a meaningful time, just ahead of the hospital’s 78th anniversary, reinforcing Houston Methodist Baytown’s long-standing commitment to the community it serves. What began decades ago as a promise to provide care for this region continues today through investments like this, ensuring access to safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
The project is being delivered in collaboration with PhiloWilke and O’Donnell/Snider Construction, bringing together a team focused on delivering a facility that supports both patients and care teams.
With construction now underway, the Emergency Care Center will serve Baytown, Mont Belvieu, and surrounding areas, helping ensure timely access to care when it matters most.
