Houston Zoo Topping Out Celebration

We recently hosted the Houston Zoo‘s Headquarters Project Topping Out Celebration, commemorating the building has safely reached its maximum height. More than 300 team members gathered to enjoy a BBQ lunch and received event t-shirts, hard hat stickers, and raffle prizes. A live evergreen tree was lifted, which will be planted in the building’s garden, signifying new growth and good fortune for future occupants.

Once completed, the Houston Zoo’s five-story Headquarters will offer breakrooms, restrooms, shower facilities, training rooms for the entire staff, and spacious offices and conference spaces for 20 different departments’ administration. It also offers large storage rooms, 258 covered parking spaces, and an employee garden adjacent to the building.
