Community leaders, project partners, and ownership representatives gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Manvel Emergency Center, marking an important milestone in expanding convenient access to healthcare for the growing community.

Speakers highlighted the importance of accessible medical care and the role the new facility will play in supporting local residents and the surrounding areas. Community leaders emphasized that proximity to emergency services contributes to stronger, healthier communities and improves response times when care is needed most.

For the ownership group, the ceremony represented the realization of a vision years in the making. After beginning the search for a suitable site approximately two years ago, the project has progressed from planning to construction, bringing the facility closer to serving the community.

“This moment reflects years of planning and commitment to improving healthcare access for the Manvel community,” said Amir Bashiri, Partner, Manvel Emergency Center. “We are excited to see construction begin and to move one step closer to delivering convenient, high-quality care for local residents.”

“We began this journey with a vision to create a resource that would serve families and strengthen the surrounding community,” said Dr. Jean Joseph, Partner, Manvel Emergency Center. “Seeing that vision take shape is incredibly meaningful, and we appreciate the collaboration that made this milestone possible.”

“We see a real need for timely, accessible emergency care in this community,” said Dr. Philip Zachariah, Partner, Manvel Emergency Center. “This facility is designed to bring high-quality care closer to home, and we are proud to be taking this important step forward for the families we will serve.”

The Manvel Emergency Center is being delivered through a collaborative partnership with Green Window Group serving as developer, BB+W as architect, and O’Donnell Snider Construction as general contractor.

Construction will now proceed as the project team works toward completing the 7,700-square-foot facility. Upon completion, the Manvel Emergency Center is expected to provide residents with convenient, accessible healthcare services that meet the region’s needs.
