Hybrid OR

The HCA Kingwood Hybrid OR project helped OSC elevate its Healthcare/Research Department through leadership and urgency opportunities. The two projects consisted of around 800 sq. ft. rooms and came with one restricted core door and the other with a sterol core door. Under the same building, these projects had many clean and safety restrictions due to being in an active hospital. One of them is a project with a connecting wall to an active trauma room. Through innovative and creative problem-solving, the OSC project team saved the project a 4-week lead time by field-installing a humidifier that had to be overseen by the manufacturer to warrant the product. In addition, the team installed their first System Critical Price Ultra Suite and executed pristine cleanliness by going beyond the zero-dust policy. The success of the overall project was due to having everyone on the project working around the clock for two weeks straight and keeping customer focus at the top of OSC’s list.
