Only the 2nd Location of Its Kind

2025 ENR AWARD OF MERIT | Small Project

O’Donnell/Snider Construction (OSC) partnered with United Airlines to construct the interior build-out of Club Fly, a new premium grab-and-go concept — and only the second location of its kind in the country — located in Terminal B at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). A 2,440-square-foot space was demolished and reconfigured to support a streamlined, hospitality-focused experience for United members. The project features a full-service barista station, walk-in cooler, e-gate access, and high-end custom millwork, all set within a design inspired by Houston’s “Space City” identity.

The project, which was completed on time and within budget, began with a detailed six-month preconstruction effort to ensure alignment with the client’s goals. Diligent planning also addressed the unique security requirements of the airport environment to maintain compliance and minimize disruption.
