An Industrial Office Space

International energy-tech company Roscommon Analytics teamed up with O’Donnell/Snider Construction to relocate their Houston office and construct a new, first-generation space. This buildout features a completely reimagined layout throughout, including meeting rooms, office spaces, a large open workspace, and collaborative spaces. A large, twelve-foot-high “glass box” in the center of the layout allows natural light to pass through the office, enhancing the continuity and openness of the space. A gym with a private locker room is an added amenity that provides added convenience, enjoyment, and accessibility for staff. The suite is accentuated with concrete slabs, exposed ceilings, and tall glass walls that project a contemporary feel and impart an industrial atmosphere throughout the office. Ceiling openness was maximized by compressing all above MEP systems, requiring special procedures to deliver, lift, and install unusually large glass walls to fit the space. Diligent pre-planning and patient installation techniques ensured the glass walls were installed successfully, without damage.
