Kirby Ice House Heights is a ground-up restaurant and bar that brings new energy to Houston’s 610 corridor. Featuring the longest bar in Texas, the venue combines expansive indoor and outdoor spaces to create a destination for gathering with friends, watching a game, or enjoying Houston’s vibrant social scene.

Timely delivery was critical. The project required collaboration with the City of Houston, TxDOT, the landlord, and multiple stakeholders. Our team provided proactive solutions, including a complex water meter relocation, that not only kept the project on track but also allowed for an early opening. Technical features included the installation of a 21,348 cu. ft. modular underground storm detention system to manage site drainage and the use of Zip-System R-sheathing for exterior walls to improve building envelope performance.

From the beginning, the vision was clear: create a venue that would immediately resonate with the community. That goal has been realized. Kirby Ice House Heights has already earned regional attention, including a feature on ESPN during Monday Night Football.
