O’Donnell/Snider Construction (OSC), in partnership with Tramonte Design Studio, completed the ground-up construction of a confidential life sciences corporate headquarters in Friendswood, Texas. Serving as construction manager, OSC delivered an 80,000-plus-square-foot, four-story office building designed to support the organization’s continued growth in precision diagnostics, healthcare innovation, and corporate operations.
Designed to accommodate long-term growth, the new headquarters consolidates executive leadership, administrative offices, and employee workspaces into a modern corporate environment that promotes collaboration, operational efficiency, and future expansion. The upper two floors provide contemporary office space, while the lower levels feature a welcoming lobby, employee fitness center, meeting and collaboration areas, and flexible white-box space designed to accommodate future tenant improvements and evolving business needs.
Beyond the building itself, the project included five phases of public infrastructure improvements requiring extensive coordination with local municipalities, utility providers, and neighboring property owners. OSC managed the sequencing and installation of utilities, roadway improvements, drainage infrastructure, site development, parking, and landscape enhancements to support the new corporate campus while maintaining the project schedule and minimizing impacts to the surrounding area.
Careful preconstruction planning, phased construction, and proactive communication enabled OSC to successfully coordinate vertical construction with complex infrastructure work throughout the project. The result is a modern corporate headquarters that supports innovation today while providing the flexibility to meet future operational demands.
