Lamar University partnered with O’Donnell/Snider Construction (OSC) and PBK Architects to construct the new Teri and Glen Morgan Baseball Complex at Vincent Beck Stadium, an approximately 8,000 square foot ground-up athletic facility designed to support the Cardinals baseball program. Constructed using a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structural system, the facility expands the university’s athletic infrastructure while enhancing the student-athlete experience and supporting recruiting efforts.
The new complex includes coaching offices, a film room, a study room, sports medicine and hydrotherapy spaces, custom player and staff locker rooms, equipment storage, and a Hall of Fame lobby celebrating Lamar Baseball’s history and tradition. Custom signage, illuminated branding elements, and durable athletic finishes were incorporated throughout the facility to create a cohesive environment that reflects the program’s identity while supporting player development and daily operations.
By delivering a purpose-built athletic facility tailored to the needs of collegiate baseball, OSC provided Lamar University with a modern home that supports student athletes, coaches, and staff. The project reflects OSC’s experience delivering ground-up facilities that enhance higher education campuses and support long-term institutional growth.
