The Preserve is a tranquil yet fully-functional fitness center. This two-story, 15,000 sq. ft. space is a showstopper for individuals interested in enhancing their health and wellness. Unlike traditional gyms, The Preserve is a relaxing escape with extensive landscaping surrounding the property. The exterior of the structure features several key design elements such as stucco and wood planking that allow the eye to rest as the body prepares to work. Aluminum composite panels and window shades tie the entire look together. Also visible from the front are the wood trellis components that overhang the second-level outdoor yard where yoga and spin classes are held.
Coming into the space, guests enter into a large exercise room, featuring an open ceiling accented with large fans throughout and decorative wooden slats in the back of house. A lap pool is available for guest use and has been seamlessly integrated within the larger space. Many rooms along the outer wall house additional class exercise areas, as well as a designated training and physical therapy area. The women’s and men’s locker rooms are a dominant portion of the first floor. Within the locker room, “Carve Art” glass doors are used for the showers and to separate individual spaces. As guests move upstairs to the second floor, they are greeted by the Pilates room and outdoor views. The outdoor area is covered in artificial turf grass conveying a calming feel of nature, while maintaining the durability the space requires. Bison wood decking lines the entire exterior perimeter. O’Donnell/Snider is pleased to be a part of bringing this special fitness destination to fruition.
